Every girl deserves the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life — to access education, develop her talents, make informed choices, and contribute positively to society. Yet for many girls and young women in Africa, this ideal is disrupted by deeply rooted social, cultural, and economic challenges.
Without adequate guidance, protection, and value-based mentorship, many girls fall into cycles of early sexual activity, unplanned pregnancies, unsafe abortions, cohabitation, abuse, stigmatization, and long-term socio-economic exclusion. WIVADEV recognizes that weak values, poor self-worth, and lack of vision are root causes that must be addressed intentionally and early.
